Heracles Almelo has signed Finnish international Juho Talvitie on loan from Lommel SK, which is part of the City Football Group. Heracles has not included an option to buy in the deal. Juho Talvitie is a left-footed right winger who is fast, technical, and strong in one-on-one situations. He also has a lot of endurance. Talvitie is a two-time international for Finland and made his debut against Portugal on June 4. He played the full 90 minutes and a few days later played 22 minutes in a friendly against Scotland. Talvitie comes from the youth academy of Tampereen Ilves, the club from his hometown of Tampere. He moved to Lommel SK in the summer of 2021 and has since played 59 games, scoring seven goals and providing three assists. Heracles is strengthening itself with Talvitie for the upcoming season, which starts on August 11 against Sparta Rotterdam. The Almelo team will still play friendly matches against Preussen Munster, Excelsior, Umm Salal, and FC Groningen. Other new signings for Heracles include Jan Zamburek, Damon Mirani, Robin Mantel, Ivan Mesik, Lorenzo Milani, and Mimeirhel Benita. Technical director Nico-Jan Hoogma is pleased with the arrival of Talvitie and sees him as a valuable addition to the team. But the team's preparations for the new season are still in full swing. So the coming weeks will be important for Heracles to get ready for the Eredivisie.
