Heracles has secured its first transfer since partnering with Jamestown Analytics. Borac joins from Stuttgarter Kickers for a modest fee. The versatile defender has Croatian roots, but was born in Germany, where he played almost his entire career for Stuttgarter Kickers. He can play as a left-back and as a left central defender and will wear the number 3 jersey. 'Mario is a player with a true winner's mentality and a strong work ethic,' said technical director Ernest Faber via the club channels. 'He brings strength and reliability to the defense and remains calm on the ball. In addition, he has exactly the qualities we are looking for in a modern defender: strong in duels, comfortable in build-up and versatile.' 'From a young age, I have felt the ambition to succeed as a professional footballer,' said Borac himself. 'I see myself as an ambitious, disciplined and team-oriented player. It is important for me to work hard every day, always maximize my potential and fully commit to the team.' Borac signs a three-year contract with an option for another year.
