Heracles delivered an impressive performance at the third Youth Tournament of AVC Heracles in Almelo. This tournament, held last Saturday at the sports park on Verlengde Sportlaan, welcomed a record number of 54 teams, a significant increase from the 30 teams that participated two years ago. Young footballers aged 8 to 12 competed in various groups for prizes, making for a day full of exciting youth football. The organization, led by Marloes, Yvonne, Cynthia, Dennis, and Fedor, received much appreciation for their tight planning and execution. In the JO10 category, Oranje Nassau and Heracles finished at the top, while Heracles also claimed victory in the JO11 and JO12 categories. In addition to the matches, there was a penalty shootout and various activities for visitors. The event was a great success, thanks in part to the efforts of volunteers and sponsors who ensured that young players could enjoy a fully catered sports day. AVC Heracles will announce later when the fourth edition of the tournament will take place.
