Heracles Almelo has won its fourth game under interim coach Hendrie Krüzen. In a crazy match, which at times seemed like a gift-giving ceremony, they defeated Go Ahead Eagles 4-2. Damon Mirani scored twice and was important for his team. Heracles is now level with NAC Breda and PEC Zwolle in the battle for the safe fifteenth place. Hendrie Krüzen expects that by the end of next week it will be known who the new coach will be in Almelo. Go Ahead Eagles had hoped to make a good start in Almelo to a heavy end of this calendar year. But Heracles has come alive after the dismissal of coach Bas Sibum with a cup win over NAC Breda and a hard-fought win over Excelsior. In the first corner for Heracles, it was immediately effective. Luka Kulenovic headed through and captain Damon Mirani slid the ball into the goal at the second post. Heracles coach Krüzen looked pleasantly surprised by the goal. Later in the match, Dean James of Go Ahead Eagles received a red card. Heracles played a good game and wins again. Saint Nicholas cheered along with the Almelo fans. Heracles now has 12 points and is in fifteenth place in the Eredivisie.
