Heracles Almelo has confirmed the transfer of Oussama Tannane to Saint-Étienne. The 21-year-old Tannane arrived in France earlier this week for a medical examination and to discuss the final details.
What happened?
Tannane scored seven times in thirteen league matches and also provided three assists. The right winger, who played in the youth academies of Ajax and PSV in the past, was also linked to Galatasaray, Málaga and Atalanta Bergamo in recent weeks.
Why is this important for Heracles?
Heracles is seeing one of its stars depart. Nico-Jan Hoogma, general director of Heracles, reacts on the club's website: 'We are extremely proud of this transfer of Oussama to AS Saint-Étienne and wish him a lot of success with his further career.'
What's next?
Heracles now has to look for a replacement for Tannane. The club is currently in 18th place in the Eredivisie, with 19 points from 34 matches. The recent form is not good, with five consecutive defeats.
